Running errands one afternoon I pulled up behind a contractor pickup truck with bold decals on the back: “Nagging for 6 Months?”, “Cheaper Than Divorce”, “Celtic Construction”, “Call Us Today.”
I’m not sure what the current market is for Morris County druids having marital problems only Celtic home additions can solve.
The scenarios write themselves: fellas just want to watch the game while their old lady won’t get off their back until they construct a fully functional druid circle with correct astronomical alignments, stones sourced from Ireland, by next solstice.
And make sure the landscaper gets that Blarney Stone in by the end of the fifth month.
I guess as a marketing strategy it could have been worse. At least he didn’t go with “Where Divorcees Get Divorce Done” or “You Can Dump Him, We Can Help.”
His crew probably introduces itself like: this is Dagda, my foreman; Glyndŵr, HVAC; and that’s Brennus, he plumbs.
Keep your eye out for this truck, especially around Valentine’s Day.
